$30 DIY Console Table

May 22, 2021

This simple $30 DIY is easy and honestly can be done in no time!! 🙌🏻

Supplies you’ll need:
+ one 2X12X12 piece of wood
+ 3 inch wood screws and screwdriver/ drill
+ paint or stain of choice (I used the color Golden Oak)
+ a miter saw or saw in general to make an angle cut at 10 degrees
+ wood filler (if you want to hide the screws)

Now, if you don’t have the tools this obviously gets to be more than $30, but typically Lowe’s or Home Depot can make cuts for you and if they don’t do angled cuts you can always drill the legs in straight as well! Either will look great and is super simple! ☺️

  • Step 1: Cut the 2X12X12 into three separate cuts.
    • The measurements are: top- 5 feet or 60 inches. Legs- 28 inches at an angle of 10 degrees on both ends.
  • Step 2: Drill the legs using the 3 inch nails from the top of the table into the legs.
    • The screws will be visible from the top, however, you can do pocket holes with a Kreg Job if you wanted.
  • Step 3: Use the wood filler to hide the visible screws.
  • Step 4: Paint or stain
  • Step 5: Decorate and enjoy!

Below are all the tools I used, PLUS the stain I used as well!
